students of the joined master programme Physics of the University of Amsterdam and the VU University Amsterdam competed for the
Amsterdam Master of Physics Award 2011
for the best presentation of their master research project.
A jury consisting of the directors of the Physics programme and an external distinct researcher has selected the winner of the award:
Siim Tolk, Nikhef/UvA
for his presentation
Using beauty to measure the difference between matter and antimatter
He received a money prize of Euro 400.
The audience also awarded the price to Siim Tolk.
For this he receieved a money prize of Euro 100.
